  • Mount Vernon Lee Chamber of Commerce works with elected officials at all levels of government to represent the business perspective on issues facing our community, the Commonwealth, and our country.

The Chamber partners with the Dulles Regional Chamber, the Loudoun Chamber, and the Greater Reston Chamber to form the Northern Virginia Chamber Partnership to work with the General Assembly.

Two signature events provide members to hear about issues facing their businesses. The General Assembly Report in March allows members to hear our local Delegates and State Senators give an update on the latest session in Richmond.

‚ÄčThe annual Candidates Forum in October gives Chamber members an opportunity to meet candidates on the ballot for November and ask questions regarding important issues.

Regular meetings with members of the Board of Supervisors gives the Chamber input on business and community issues.

  • The Chamber’s Legislative Agenda supports pro-business policies at all levels of government.  Issues such as Virginia’s right-to-work laws, an equitable and fair legal system, unemployment and worker’s compensation systems that balance the needs of employees and employers are all included.
