  • Involvement in a chamber committee is a great way to connect with like-minded chamber members and bring more visibility to your business. This is where the work of the Chamber gets done.

  • Finance Committee

    This committee prepares an annual budget and monitors the Chamber's finances.  It ensures that Chamber funds are secure and audited as required.  

    Chair:  Chris Reddick, The National Capital Bank
    This committee meets quarterly.

  • Events Committee

    An active group of chamber members plans the yearly calendar and implements chamber programs.

    Chair:  Ken Board, M & T Bank

    4th Tuesday of each month at 9 am in the Chamber Office.

  • Golf Committee

    The annual Chamber Golf Committee is the major fundraiser for the Chamber's Educational Partnership Scholarship Fund.  The chamber has given more than $200,000 to local graduating high school students pursuing further education in a business related field.  Sign up for the committee to get notices of meetings.

  • Membership Committee

    The membership committee welcomes new members in to the Chamber and acquaints prospective members with the benefits of membership.   

    Chair:  Josh Toth, Capital Bank

    3rd Wednesday of each month at noon, Chamber Office

  • Military & Community Relations Committee

    This committee facilitates alliances between the chamber and educational institutions, historic sites, and the military. 

    Chair: Alison Ross Tompkins, The Fairfax
    First Tuesday at 9:30 am, Chamber Office

  • Legislative Affairs Committee

    This committee actively works to promote pro-business policies at all levels of government.  

    Chair:  Mark Murray, Fort Belvoir Swim Team
    First Wednesday at 8:00 am, Chamber Office
