The annual legislative agenda written by the legislative affairs committee, is a resource to enable Chamber Members to anticipate future government actions, policies, and programs that may impact their business and our community.
Two signature events provide members to hear about issues facing their businesses. The General Assembly Report in May allows members to hear our local Delegates and State Senators give an update on the latest session in Richmond.
The annual Candidates Forum in October gives Chamber members an opportunity to meet candidates on the ballot for November and ask questions regarding important issues.
Regular meetings with members of the Board of Supervisors and with congressional staff gives the Chamber input on business and community issues.
